20-year-old Albanian footballer Erald Lakti chooses Albanian over Italy

 Erald Lakti is one of the most interesting Albanian players. The 20-year-old of Shkodra origin plays as a midfielder. He was born in Italy and is part of Fiorentina, where he won the Italian Cup as the youth captain. Last season he was activated in three friendly matches by Vincenzo Montella.

The club from Florence loaned him to Gubbio in August, a team that competes in Serie C. Lakti has played with the national teams of the ages of Albania and expects the debut with the U21 team. There are no doubts about the future and he emphasizes "Fan Zone" that he will choose the red and blacks (Albanian team) and not the place where he was born.

“My origin is from Albania and my blood is Albanian, this is my choice. I was on U-19 last year, this year I played with U20, but not yet in U-21. I want to catch the first team of Albania".
