Rrogozhina Mayor Haxhi Memolla dies of cardiac arrest

 The mayor of the city of Rrogozhina, Haxhi Memolla, passed away this Saturday in Debar as he went to watch the football match between Korabi of Peshkopia and Egnatia of Rrogozhina, valid for the First Division of football.

It is learned that Memolla attended the first part of the meeting and then went out with the Mayor of Debar, Dionis Imeraj, to have a coffee because he was not feeling well. And after consuming the coffee, Memolla walked toward the stadium again, but suffered a stroke, falling to the ground, witnesses say.

Although he was rushed to the Dibra Regional Hospital, the doctors could not save his life.

The 52-year-old Haxhi Memolla has been Mayor of Rrogozhina since June 30 last year, selected by the Socialist Party of Albania.
