FIFA blocks Flamurtari market, the manager Idriz denies it

News has been circulating for some weeks that the Albanian team of Flamurtari has been convicted by FIFA because of late payments.

Finally, it is rumored that the World Football Confederation has blocked three market sessions for the Vlora players of Flamurtari: January 2020, June 2020 and January 2021. In Vlora, however, they deny the rumors and say the market continues.

Speaking to media, the club's manager, Sinan Idrizi, said: “There is no penalty. Flamurtari continues his work at the market. We have approached two foreign players and we will get five more."

But so far no presentations have been made, and sources close to the club claim that has arrived a letter from FIFA.

January's market was seen as a lifeline for Flamurtari, who has not won a single match in 17 weeks. The Vlora players are the last in the standings with just 6 points.
