Starting from today, the minimum wage in Macedonia is 1450 denars or € 236
 
 The minimum wage today is increased by about 2,000 denars in North Macedonia and is 14,500 denars or € 236. Compared to 2017, the minimum wage increased by MKD 5,500.

The state will also subsidize contributions from 600 to 6,000 dinars to all private-sector companies that will raise workers' wages, whether they are minimum or higher wages. The subsidies will be valid for the next three years.

While the Parliament voted some months ago the Law on Minimum Wage and the Law on Subsidizing of Contributions.

The minimum wage to date was 12,507 denars. This time the increase in the minimum wage will also apply to the public sector. 90,000 citizens receive a minimum wage of 12,500 denars or € 203.
