Two persons from Fushe Kruja suspected on Arjan Ndoj assassination attempt
The Forensic Police Laboratory claims that there is a high correlation between the cartridges found in the Mafia-type assassination attempt against the Durres prosecutor Arjan Ndoj and the weapons seized in a vehicle in Ishem.

In the meantime, two persons from Fushë Kruja has been detained to the Tirana Police Directorate, but their role in the criminal act where three people were injured was still unknown.

The firearms seized in the abandoned vehicle at Ishem after Friday's assassination attempt in Durres where Prosecutor Arjan Ndoj and his two friends were traveling, according to the Forensic Police Laboratory, have similarities to the cartridges found at the scene.

Sources from the investigative team confirmed that: a preliminary finding resulted in high compliance, as the cartridges found at the scene were fired from Kalashnikov-type guns left in the abandoned vehicle at Shafana, Ishem.

Ballistics experts at the State Police will also make a second comparison to remove any doubts as to the compatibility of the Kalashnikovw Model 56 machine gun needle and the mark left on the rifle cartridge found at the Shkozet overpass.

In Friday's mafia-type assassination attempt on prosecutor Arjan Ndoj, the driver Andy Maloku and their friend Alexander Laho, otherwise known as Pëllumb Muharremi or nicknamed "Rrumi", were allegedly shot by two different guns.

Police escorted to interrogate a large number of persons, two of whom were taken to the Tirana Police Directorate.

The vehicle that the perpetrators left in the direction of Ishem, a Mercedes Benz with AA 342 LM license plates, was stolen in Tirana two weeks ago.

Other evidence, such as masks, strands, and papillary traces left on a gasoline-powered plastic bidet, were also found in the same device.

To make it possible to identify the persons through DNA tests, the Forensic Police Laboratory will seek to compare through Interpol the genetic profile obtained, as the perpetrators may prove convicted in European Union countries.

All operations of the chain of command in Durres are being verified by the Internal Affairs and Appeals Service as the area is monitored by mobile police patrols 24 hours a day.
