7 Albanians sentenced with prison in the UK for planting at least 347 cannabis roots

 Police in the city of Leeds in England destroyed a well-intentioned operation by seven Albanians who planted cannabis in several homes.

If they succeeded in completing the operation, they would benefit about 500,000 pounds, local police say.

Metal Shehu, 29, was sentenced to 3 years in prison.

Blerim Trota, 34, was sentenced to 4 years and 3 months in prison.

Did Dida, 41, was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison.

Refik Duraku, 36, was sentenced to 2 years

Rigert Papdeja, 21, Ermijon Gjuta, 30, and Ardit Gjuta, 21, were sentenced to 4 years and 6 months respectively.

In five homes rented through forged documents, police found 347 cannabis vases ready for harvest, as well as 529 seedlings ready for collection.
