Tourist season in Albania, charter flights tripled

 Albania has become a favorite vacation destination and is pushing the air travel market through chartering tourists.

Referring to the official data coming from the International Civil Aviation Authority Mother Teresa International Airport, known also as Rinas Airport, figures show a total of 239,465 passengers who traveled in April to/from TIA.

With regard to the increase/decrease of passenger flow fluctuations for the month of April 2017-2018-2019, the number of passengers flying with Charter has increased by 306%.

According to official data, Italy owns the largest percentage in the air transport market for April 2019, accounting for 56% of the total and a total of 132,769 passengers, followed by Turkey by 7%, Austria by 7%, and Hungary 6 %. If we were to compare the last three years, the air traffic and passenger flows this year, in April 2019, has a 13% increase compared to 2018.
