At a special moment, the Prince decorated the Prime Minister with the medal of the Commander of the Order of Saint-Charles of the Principality of Monaco.

The Prime Minister of Albania was honored with this order during his official visit to the Principality of Monaco on April 10, 2019, not for reciprocity but for special merits in strengthening relations between the two states and his commitment to protection and promotion as developmental factor for the Mediterranean, the coast and the maritime areas, as the Albanian state media writes.

We Recall that Prince Albert II came to Albania for the first time 6 months ago invited by the President Ilir Meta just one week after Prime Minister Rama declared the closure of  football bets, lotteries and gambling in public areas and near residential centers.
