The first flight from Rome to Ankara after 60 years

 Sincer 60 years before, this evening will depart  from Leonardo da Vinci – Roma-Fiumicino Airport the first direct flight to Turkish capital, Ankara, according to Turkish Airlines.

The Turkish Airlines will present the resumption of this historic line with a ceremony to be held in Rome before the departure of the first plane scheduled at 21:55.

Until now the Turkish Airlines operates in 131 direct flights per week to eight Italian destinations from the two Istanbul airports, but not in Rome.
