The Greek Vice-Foreign Minister Georgios Katrougalos sent out harsh messages to Albania about the Greek minority's properties in Albania.

In a letter to the Greek Parliament, he informed "the violation of the rights of the Greek minority in Albania, especially those related to property".

Katrougalos said thatabout these concerns of Greece, he has informed the EU officials as well.

He stresses that the respect for the rights of the Greek minority is a "non-negotiable condition" for Albania's membership in the European Union.

"Albania has an international and European obligation to respect the rights of the Greek National Minority throughout its territory and it is a non-negotiable condition not only for the promotion of our bilateral relations but also for the success of the European aspirations of Tirana", writes Katrugalos.
