Bulgaria's Prime Minister Boyko Borissov had today an official visit to Tirana. During the joint conference, Prime Minister Edi Rama said he gave the Medal of Gratitude to the Bulgarian PM, as according to him Brissov has performed the Albania's lawyer in the EU.

"I gave to Prime Minister Borisov the Medal of Gratitude, as he has made Albania's lawyer in the EU. The relationship with Bulgaria is positive. We discussed together the difficult process of reforms and hope to have positive news for the opening of the negotiations," Rama said.

Meanwhile, during his speech, the Bulgarian PM said that three EU countries are opposed to opening negotiations for Albania to the EU.

"We have to convince the countries that have remained in this direction in order to be pro the EU. 2 or 3 states are opposed to the opening of EU negotiations. Albania should be given the date for talks opening. Thank you for the medal. I think it is for all of us who show effort, so I am convinced that the Balkans can become a good place. I am worryed when the Turkish government conducts trainings near the Kosovo borde. I think that in the months and years ahead we will work even better," he said.
