The winner at Eurovision 2018, Netta Barzilai, was highly commented on the Albanian media because of the sensational statement she made relating to Balkans and Albanians.
She said had received life threatening messages from different Balkan countries, including Albania.
She said that she had an unpleasant experience from the Balkans and had tried to avoid these threats, as her only mission was to be an Israeli music ambassador.But she did not stop there. At a recent conference, Netta also talked about Eleni Foureira, the Albanian singer who represented Cyprus at Eurovision.
"Me and Eleni were the favorites to win the Eurovision. I think that in esence won the authenticity. I was in the race only with myself," she said, implying that according to her, Eleni's performance was fake.
