Mujahedin in Albania at risk of being killed by Iranian regime

 Alejo Vidal-Quadras, the International Committee President in Research of Justice (ISJ), warned that the Iranian regime intends a campaign that threatens Iranian Resistance members (MEK) who moved to Albania's security after leaving the camp in Iraq.

Iranian resistence members of the Mujahedin people who are under the security of Albania are at risk of terrorist attacks by the Iranian regime.

Opposition members who have lived in Iraq went subject to inhumane attacks and medical experiments. 178 people died there. Many of the residents finally moved safely to Albania where they were warmly welcomed.

It was a great achievement when recent residents fled Iraq and was considered a major humanitarian success following a strong initiative that involved a considerable level of diplomatic pressure. This included the United Nations, ISJ, US senators and congressmen, members of parliament, US personalities and European politicians.

Iranian government is in a desperate situation after the widespread protests that began in late December, in which people protested in over 140 cities in Iran.

People called for the change of the regime, because they know it is their only chance of freedom, democracy, and human rights. To counter the growing isolation of the country, the regime is increasing the oppression campaign and is now targeting the MEK group in Albania.
