Albanian Prime Ministers in 105 years; 7 killed, 10 sentenced to death, 3 imprisoned

In 105 years the Albanian state counts 33 prime ministers, or simply a prime minister for in 3 years. By omitting the 27 years governance of Mehmet Shehu and the 9 years of Adil Çarçani, Albania turns out to be the most unstable state in Europe.

First, there are 7 prime ministers killed in assassinations. Such a sad story begins with Prime Minister Ismail Qemal Vlora, who was poisoned at the hotel "Brufoni" in Perugia, Italy.

And that follows with the assassination of Esad Toptani, Hasan Prishtina, Idhomeno Kosturi. Maliq Bushati shot dead as an enemy of the people or Kostaq Kota who died in the Burrel prison because of tortures.

But even more aggravated is the murder or the suicide of Mehmet Shehu while on duty according to the official version.

The figures continue to be even heavier: 10 prime ministers in the history of the Albanian state have been sentenced to death, a third of them.

Below are some statistics prepared for DITA by the journalist Roland Qafoku
