In the "Java" show on the state television (RTSH), the analyst Lorenc Vangjeli, made a strong statement.
"According to reliable sources," he said, "the State Department has compiled a non grata list for 15 Albanian officials or former senior officials."
The reason of this according to the analyst is related to the data that the Department of State says about the involvement of senior officials of different countries in corrupt affairs.The ban from entering in the US of these officials is foreseen in the American law. On this basis, the State Department has benned recently from entering the US the former General Attorney, Adriatik Llala and the MP Tom Doshi.
This was the first time that this measure is applied to Albanian officials and deputies.
Relating to the ban of the former Prosecutor, Ambassador Donald Lu said on a TV show that he is the first case in the history of US.
Vangjel's statement warns that a similar fate may have another 15 officials.
If such information is confirmed then in the coming weeks it is expected that the political waters in Albania will be even more troublesome, with consequences that can lead to significant resignation or institutional vacuum.
