Erdogan considers Albanians as Turkey's friends in 6th Congress of AK

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan saluted the Albanians and considered them as Turkey's friends in the speech held today at the 6th Congress of the Party for Justice and Development (AK Party) that is being held in Bolu Province.

Erdogan started his speech by greeting the states he considers friendly to Turkey: Kosovo, Serbia, Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Crimea, Bulgaria, Romania and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"Albania. I also send heartfelt congratulations to my brothers and sisters in Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Western Thrace, Crimea, Bulgaria, Romania on behalf of my nation," Erdogan said, reports TRT Haber.

Erdogan said that our physical boundaries are smaller than the limits of our world.

"We want to communicate with our brothers in Sarajevo, Skopje, Gumulcine, Kardzhali, Pristina and Mostar. I say always that our physical boundaries are smaller than the limits of our world. Half of our heart is in Istanbul, Diyarbakir, Trabzon, Antalya and Izmir while the other half is in Aleppo, Kirkuk, Jerusalem and Buhara," he stated.

Erdogan stated that "we fight for the oppressed throughout the world as much as we work for our country and our nation."

The Turkish president also addressed sharp criticisms on NATO's account, due to its inactivity in relation to threats to Turkey in terms of security.

"When does NATO intend to be on Turkey's side, regarding all the developments in Syria and the region?" He said.
