"Macedonia is the next country to join NATO," said former Allied Commander James Stavridis to Voice of America.

"I hope that Greece will be able to resolve Macedonia's name dispute with Macedonia, and this will open Macedonia to become part of NATO. I consider that Macedonia will join the Alliance," Stavridhis said.

US Vice President Mike Pens, on behalf of President Donald Tramp, earlier this month in telephone conversation with Prime Minister Zoran Zaev confirmed the support for Macedonia's Euro-Atlantic integration.

"Pens said the US continues to encourage Macedonia's Euro-Atlantic aspirations and encouraged Zaev to continue with priority reforms that will accelerate Macedonia's path in that direction," the White House said./Oculus News
