The LGBT and Pro LGBT Alliance, the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transsexual community started today at around 11:00 am the Parade on bicycle, although a few hours later the opposition announced a protest at the Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard.
The parade started from the Palace of Congresses, while the participants will ride on the boulevard and return to the left on Ismail Qemali Street and will enter the former block of Ibrahim Rugova area and as it was foreseen they will continue along the Lana River, will turn back to the bridge at the "Vasil Shanto" school and will continue along Lana.Earlier, LGBTI activists received direct assurances from Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha that by opposition supporters there will be no incidents or threats to the safe conduct of this activity.
LGBTI activists from all over the region, supporters, activists and members of the LGBTI community from Albania, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps in Albania, will participate in this parade. Police have taken measures to secure the LGBT community parade./Oculus News
