The two ministers discussed the opportunities and finding common points of interest, to deepen cooperation in the fight against organized crime.
Minister Xhafaj revealed to Mr. Wallace the priorities of his office, focusing on the fight against the cultivation and cannabis trafficking, organized crime and criminal groups, and to promote the integrity of state employees through the extension of the Vetting's process even in the ranks of State Police.The focus of the meeting held in the office of the Minister of Interior, were matters affecting security in both countries.
Minister Wallace considered the cooperation and partnership with the Albanian side among the most successful.
They dealed to bring in Albania three British police officers on a permanent basis, to enhance the quality and exchange of information of innovative capacity that are in use by Police, as well as the training of State Police.
At the request of Xhafaj minister, the British side said they are willing to provide assistance to the Security Academy./Oculus News
