Albanian ship Oriku stops a boat with 60 Syrians on board in the Aegean Sea

 The ship of the Albanian Naval Force is engaged in the NATO operation in the Aegean Sea to prevent the influx of illegal migrants who try to enter the countries of the European Union; Albanian ship identified this morning a boat with 60 people on board launched from the coast of Syria heading to the Greek coast. |

The crew of Oriku ship, according to the duties and responsibilities assigned to this operation, informed immediately the ship FGS Brandenburg, Turkish and Greek Coast Guard and Guarding of Foreign Border Agency of EU, Frontex.

The crew of the Albanian ship Oriku offered aid until the arrival of the Turkish coastguard.

From the data obtained from the Turkish coast guard is proved that on board were 60 people, of whom 22 children, 12 women and 26 men, mostly from Syria, but among them there were also nationals from African countries.
