Russia recognises Kosovo Passports

Labinot Ibrahimi who plays for the team of Partizani of Tirana has broken a historical taboo. He is the first Albanian football player who holds a Kosovo passport and passed the Russian border.

Meanwhile FK Partizani decided to post this particular news on its official website, exactly the moment when Ibrahimi stamped the passports to cross the Russian border, writing "The first Albanian player with Kosovo passport to crossing the Russian border."

He is followed immediately by the other Kosovar, Ylber Ramadani.

After many, many hardships, both Kosovo players managed to be with their team in Russia to play tomorrow against Krasnodar, this meeting is valuable for the phase of Play-Off of Europa League.
