Albania is the champion of Balkans in cycling; in the Balkan tour the Albanians managed to get the three first places.
No surprise, as expected. In the first place is the champion, Eugert Zupa.
With his time of 4:01:40, Zupa left behind his rivals, Iltjan Nike and Redi Halilaj with about three minutes more.WINNERS

The competition has been strong until the second climbing on the hills of Kërraba, where athletes were close to each other. But during the climb and then in downhill, the champion Zupa made the difference by touching first the finish undisturbed by anyone.
This race was about 170 km long, included the highland and the ramp, as well as the paved road, giving thus to athletes the opportunity to show themselves in all the fields.
Should be said that many cyclists could not managed to completed this race, by not reaching to the finish due to exhaustion and problems they had with their bicycles.
This event has been a success for Albania and the very fact that on pod managed to climb three Albanians, shows the quality. Everything went perfect in this race, with the appropriate measures taken by the police, where there was no problem on the way.
