UEFA celebrates Albania’s national team qualification and top squad players
 The governing body of football in Europe, the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) continues to celebrate Albania’s national team and the Albanian top UEFA club performers.

In an article entitled Albania’s biggest European success stories, UEFA presents statistics over the performance, appearance and the top scoring of the Albanian players in European Champion Clubs’ Cup/UEFA Champions League, underlining the most recent of the Albania’s Red and Blacks national team.

“With Skënderbeu in the UEFA Europa League group stage and the national team bound for UEFA EURO 2016, UEFA.com celebrates Albania’s top UEFA club performers,” UEFA writes on its official website.

UEFA celebrates Albania’s top performers with the highest number of appearances in the European competitions. Besnik Hasi, Anderlecht, tops the list of Albanian players’ appearances in European Champion Clubs’ Cup/UEFA Champions League with a total of 35 appearances, followed by Altin Haxhi with 21 appearances, and Lorik Cana with 20 appearances.

The top-scoring Albanian players list is headed by Hamdi Salihi with six goals, followed by Devis Muka with 5, and Alban Bushi placed third with four goals.

Albania’s national team captain Lorik Cana tops the list regarding the number of appearances by Albanian players in UEFA club competition with 56 appearances, followed by Admir Teli with 48, and Ansi Agolli with a total of 45 appearances.
