Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati, said today at the Parliamentary Committe of Foreign Affairs that regarding candidate status, the government is awaiting the report of the European Commission on this issue
Regarding the results of the elections for the European Parliament, where euroskeptic parties had a substantial increase, Bushati said that only France is a problem.
Bushati's biggest concern were the words of one of the candidates for Chairman of the European Parlament, who said that "having in mind the results, we must be conscious that there will be not enlargement of Europe in the 4-5 years to come".
"The victory of extremists in England will not affect domestic politics and this goes in favor of the policy of James Cameroon. Elections in England are different from those of Europe, and if these elections were made in England, the result would speak in favor of Cameroon" Bushati said.
