As anti-government protests in Albania reach over 102 consecutive days, citizens are taking a stand against Prime Minister Edi Rama’s government and the political establishment. What started as gatherings outside the Albanian Parliament has evolved into nationwide civil disobedience, with major roads in Tirana blocked following police interventions and the detention of many activists.
We cannot stay silent from afar. It is our civic duty to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the protesters fighting daily for democracy, justice, and a free Albania.
