Thousands March Through Tirana in 36th Anti-Government Protest in Albania

Thousands of demonstrators took to the streets of Tirana on Saturday as the 36th nationwide protest against the Albanian government continued with a peaceful march through the capital.

A long column of protesters stretched across the city's main streets, eventually reaching the area near Rinia Park, while participants continued marching in an orderly and non-violent manner.

Throughout the demonstration, protesters repeatedly chanted slogans including "Revolution" and "Rama, resign!", expressing their opposition to the government led by Prime Minister Edi Rama.

The protest drew participants from various regions across Albania, as well as members of the Albanian diaspora who joined the demonstration in the capital.

Organizers and protesters reiterated that the demonstrations will continue until their main demand is met—the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

The latest rally marks the 36th consecutive anti-government protest, underscoring the persistence of public opposition and the determination of participants to maintain pressure on the government through continued public demonstrations.
