Albania’s Amputee National Football Team Prepares for Inclusion Cup 2026 in Switzerland

The Albanian National Amputee Football Team is continuing its preparations at the “House of Football” ahead of its participation in the international tournament “Inclusion Cup 2026”, which will take place in St. Gallen, Switzerland, from August 6 to 9.

The Red and Black team is conducting regular training sessions as it works to reach the highest possible level of physical and tactical readiness before facing international opponents.

Psychological Preparation Added to Training Program

As part of the comprehensive support provided to the team, the players also participated in a psychological preparation session led by psychologist Lenida Halilaj.

The session focused on strengthening the athletes’ emotional resilience, improving motivation, increasing self-confidence, and preparing them mentally for the challenges of the upcoming tournament.

The psychological aspect is considered an important part of modern sports preparation, especially for athletes competing at an international level, where mental strength and teamwork play a crucial role.

FSH Supports Inclusive Football Development

These activities are part of the ongoing commitment of the Albanian Football Federation to provide complete sporting and psychological preparation for the National Amputee Football Team.

The squad will represent Albania at Inclusion Cup 2026, continuing to promote the values of inclusion, determination, and equal opportunities through football.

The participation of the Albanian amputee team in international competitions represents not only a sporting challenge but also an important message about the power of sport to overcome barriers and unite communities.
