The incident occurred around 09:15 local time at the intersection of Elbasan Street and “Dervish Hima” Street, when residents noticed a plastic bucket left in the middle of the road. Given the sensitive location, close to diplomatic buildings, the object immediately raised security concerns.

Police forces quickly responded to the scene, securing the area and temporarily suspending traffic as a precautionary measure. The perimeter was cordoned off while specialized units carried out standard safety checks to assess whether the object posed any threat.

The situation caused brief disruption and concern among pedestrians and drivers in the area, as authorities treated the report with maximum caution.

After a thorough inspection, experts confirmed that there was no danger. The suspicious object turned out to be nothing more than a simple plastic bucket containing beans.

Following the verification, the alert was declared a false alarm. Police lifted the security perimeter and traffic in the area returned to normal shortly afterward.

No injuries or damage were reported, and the incident ended without any consequences.

Authorities are expected to release an official statement providing further details on the case.
