Albanian national football team defender Elseid Hysaj speaks with state police officers as he is issued a traffic fine while driving his luxury sports car.
During their stay in the capital, the two players were involved in an off-field incident that attracted public attention. According to reports and images provided by LSA, Hysaj’s vehicle was stopped by the Traffic Police in central Tirana after allegedly exceeding the speed limit in a residential area. The incident took place while Taulant Seferi was also in the car with him.

Footage shows traffic police officers carrying out routine checks before issuing a fine to the driver. Hysaj was seen speaking with the officer in an attempt to clarify the situation, but the penalty was still applied according to standard traffic regulations. Seferi remained inside the vehicle during the exchange.

Although the incident is minor and administrative in nature, it has gained attention due to the public profiles of the players, who are key figures in the Albanian national team setup. Both players are expected to remain focused on their upcoming international duties, as the squad continues preparations for the friendly matches designed to test form, tactics, and squad depth.

Such incidents are not uncommon among high-profile athletes, especially when they are moving between training sessions, public commitments, and personal schedules. However, authorities in Albania continue to emphasize road safety rules, particularly in urban and residential areas where speed limits are strictly enforced.

Despite the fine, there is no indication that the situation will affect team preparations or player availability. The focus within the national camp remains on training intensity, tactical adjustments, and building cohesion ahead of the next fixtures.

The Albania national team is expected to use these friendly matches as an opportunity to evaluate players and strategies under the new coaching direction, with supporters closely watching how the squad performs in this transitional phase.
