Born on February 27, 2009, in Pordenone to Albanian parents originating from Bago, a village near Kavajë, Gjeci is regarded as an attacking midfielder with strong potential. His early performances at youth level have drawn attention for his technical ability and forward-driven style, positioning him as one of the promising prospects among Albanian talents abroad.

Gjeci is currently developing within the youth system of Inter Primavera, where he has been featuring with the U-19 squad and delivering impressive displays. His progress has not gone unnoticed, with Italian football authorities reportedly expressing interest in calling him up for Italy’s youth national teams.

However, the young midfielder chose to represent Albania U-17 National Team, underlining his connection to his heritage. He recently made his debut in two international friendlies played on March 26 and 28, 2026, in Tirana against Latvia, gaining his first official minutes in red and black colors.
