Albania to Receive First LMV2 Armored Vehicles: A Strategic Boost for Regional Security

Albania is taking a significant step toward the modernization of its Armed Forces, according to Iveco Defence Vehicles. In the coming months, the country will receive its first batch of LMV2 armored vehicles, as part of a program financed by the European Union through the European Peace Facility and implemented by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AID).

Key Features of the LMV2

   • Reinforced against IEDs, landmines, and ballistic fire.

   • Provides high safety standards for soldiers in hostile environments.

2. Capacity and Flexibility

   • Can carry between 5 and 7 fully equipped troops, depending on configuration.
