Nagip Krasniqi arrested, the head of the Electricity Corporation of Kosovo

 The Special Prosecutor's Office of Kosovo has announced that the director of KEK, Nagip Krasniqi, has been arrested, Euronews reports.


According to the Prosecutor's Office, Krasniqi was arrested due to the suspicion that he committed "Misuse of official position or authority", "Exercise of influence" and "Conflict of interest".


Also, it is known that the Special Investigation Unit today raided Krasniqi's office in Pristina, two apartments in separate locations in Pristina, owned and used by the same, in order to find evidence related to the aforementioned criminal acts.


"During the raid, various documents related to the case were seized, electronic devices such as three computers, a laptop, a mobile phone, a USB, as material evidence that will serve for the further procedure", the announcement states.
