'63% of Albanians in Britain do not want to return to home'

Andi Hoxhaj, lecturer in law at the University College in London, said that based on the studies he has done, 40% of Albanians emigrate to Britain due to economic conditions.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, Hoxhaj emphasized that another part leave their country for a better life and that they have no hope in Albania.

Furthermore, Hoxhaj emphasized that in Great Britain almost 63% of Albanians do not want to return to Albania.

"From me, they wanted to know how the economic and legal situation was in the country and to learn what are some of the factors that could push someone to travel.

40% of Albanians run away for economic reasons, 20% run away because they want a better life, 10% run away to their family members, 20% run away because they had no hope and did not see the future in Albania.

In Great Britain, almost 63% of Albanians do not want to return. A part of them wanted to return when they would not be active for work and 10% wanted to return after a few years," he emphasized.
