Two memoranda of understanding and an interstate agreement were signed at the "Economic Forum for Regional Co-operation" in Skopje between Prime Minister Edi Rama, his counterpart Zoran Zaev and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

According to Euronews Albania the three leaders have signed:

2. Co-operation Agreement on Disaster Protection and Rescue in the Western Balkans.

3. Memorandum on the movement of the labor market in the region, regarding the temporary residence permit.

The document states that the "Memorandum of Understanding to facilitate the import, export and movement of goods in the Western Balkans" is related to: simplification of formalities related to the import, export and movement / transit of goods; cooperation of customs and other competent authorities; as well as special provisions on food safety, veterinary and phytosanitary matters; and free movement of non-food industrial products.

Whereas, the "Agreement on Cooperation for Disaster Protection and Rescue in the Western Balkans" includes the readiness between the 3 countries for voluntary assistance in case of disasters.

These include: planning and implementation of measures for protection against natural disasters and floods, earthquakes, fires, environmental pollution, shipwrecks, radiological hazards, pandemics, as well as industrial and other disasters; mutual reporting on disaster threats, occurrences and consequences; education and training of service personnel.

The other memorandum concerns the movement of the labor market in the region, regarding the temporary residence permit.

This is a confirmation of the commitment to implement EU law in the field of free movement of workers and to prepare for closer integration in the EU single market.
