Albanian Parade in New York canceled for the second year in a row

 Albanian Parade, the magnificent event organized every year by "Albanian Roots" in the US is canceled for the second year in a row due to the pandemic.

Even this year, the mayor of New York, Bill de Blasio, did not give the green light for the organization of this very important event for the Albanians of America.

The event was scheduled to take place on June 12, 2021, at 08.00 am in Manhattan.

Even last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic the event could not take place.

While the Albanian Parade of 2019, the last, had as its theme Chameria, while that of 2018 the Kosovo Liberation Aarmy veterans.

Among the parades of different communities that are organized in Manhattan in June, that of the Albanians is distinguished by the great participation and the dynamism created by the folk songs and dances..
