Sokol Metaj, 55, who was sentenced to 5 years in prison by the Tirana Court of Appeals for sexual harassment, is being extradited from Greece.

He was found guilty because on November 15, 2015, near the parking lot of a complex in Tirana, in his vehicle, he sexually harassed two minor citizens, as local media reports.

Police explain that the 55-year-old had one of the juveniles as a student in his football course.

The 55-year-old worked as a football coach.

Must be stressed here that 2020 has been a black year for sexual violence against minors. Some of the cases were published in the media and shocked public opinion.

We remind that brothels have been illegal since 1945 in Albania, which could channel some of the abuser's sexual energy.

On the other hand, many sex scandals have been reported in state offices. And often sexual services are said to have been used as a means of exchange for various favors.
