The United States appears to have begun reactivating funds and programs for Kosovo following the removal of reciprocity by Avdullah Hoti's new government against Serbia.

An independent US government agency, Millennium Challenge Corporation, reports that it has resumed the implementation of its program to boost Kosovo's economy by reducing poverty.

It also points out that welcomes the reflection of Kosovo, while local media reveal that this American agency had interrupted the program when Albin Kurti, the former Prime Minister of Kosovo, established reciprocity with Serbia.

"The United States welcomes Kosovo's reflection on the tax issue and the lifting of reciprocity measures on Serbian goods. MCC is pleased to resume the implementation of the proposed compact program in Kosovo. "MCC expects a continuous, strong partnership with the people of Kosovo and their government as we work together to reduce poverty through economic growth.".
