A 30-year old Albanian woman massacred whole her family for not allowing her to marry Italian lover

 The Basic Court of Gostivar in Northern Macedonia has sentenced the 30-year-old Albanian Blerta Pocesta to prison, who was been found guilty of killing her mother, father and sister, an event that took place on August 27, 2018, in Dibra e Madhe .

The Pocesta family lived in Pordenone, Italy, but had gone to Dibra e Madhe, their country of origin, to attend the wedding of their friends. After the festive ceremony, Blerta fired a pistol at her mother, Nazmije, 53, her father, Amidin, 55, and her 14-year-old sister Anila.

She was arrested in Italy, where she was sent immediately after the crime and handed over to the authorities of Northern Macedonia for trial. One accomplice in the crime, Ferdi Gashi, was sentenced to 10 years in prison, while Vehab Gllobiçishta, 60, was sentenced to three years in prison for helping
the perpetrator leave northern Macedonia. Italian and Macedonian media quoted the 30-year-old as saying that she had been killed because she was not allowed to marry an Italian..
