A bakery owner in Tirana disinfects incoming customers if the fight against COVID-19

This is the usual procedure that the owner of this bakery in Tirana has been welcoming his clients since March 9, the day the first case of coronavirus was discovered in Albania.

With alcohol and disinfectant in the queue of the citizens, the owner of this bakery requires citizens to keep distance even in the interior of his shop.

"To do total disinfection, keep distance with customers, disinfect customers out of the hands with the slogan 'protect yourself," he said.

Another added measure to minimize the likelihood of the virus spreading is the suggestion that this bakery has made to the citizens until they win the battle with COVID-19 to get the bread not cut into slices.

At a time when care and messages about maintaining hygiene in public places are ongoing, the case of this bakery in Tirana is one of the few examples that public service facilities have taken to maintain the health of their customers.
