Macedonian MPs who didn't have said a single word in the Assembly? Though they have been paid 15,000 euros that year

North Macedonian Parliament
Some lawmakers from the ruling and opposition parties in North Macedonia went to work over the past year, but have never talked about laws that have been on the agenda.

During the past year, 14 deputies have not appeared in the Assembly's parliament, nor have they proposed laws in the Assembly, nor have they asked questions, according to the Macedonian media.

In the publication 'My MP', is written that the DUI President Ali Ahmeti has come to the hearing 14 times but has never spoken on the podium. DPA MP Menduh Thaci has also appeared in the sessions seven times, while SDSM's Sashko Atanasov has attended the session 98 times, never talking in the notebook to discuss or replicate with colleagues in the past year.

Opposition lawmakers Boris Zmejkovski and Johan Tarculovski have consistently have been absent, but justified. Neither Afrim Gashi nor Nexhbedin Kahrimani from 'Alternative' have found it reasonable to meet with other MPs and get involved in the adoption of laws.

MP from the Democratic Party of Serbs Ivan Stoilkovic, just like Ahmeti, Thaci, and Kahrimani, came to work but did not spoke a single time at the hearings. MP Vasil Pishev from OBRM-PDUKM, who has often discussed in the past on the podium, did not ask any questions in 2019. Just like Pishev did, his former counterpart, Krsto Mukoski, who came to work but did not speak, proposed no laws, did not even replicate and did not have procedural objections. The MEP also had a regular presence, but did not discuss the laws in the Assembly.

While the MPs who receive mandates from North Macedonia citizens are paid at around 15,000 euros a year and also have immunity and cannot be held criminally liable.
