A 45-year-old man who has been declared internationally wanted has been arrested by police. Official sources suggest that Shpetim Pepa, a resident of the village of Gradishta, Belsh, was arrested for the purpose of extradition to Italy.

His arrest and detention came after the Italian Court in Florence sentenced him to 10 years and 6 months in prison for the crime of "drug trafficking".

Further actions for this citizen will be carried out by the Interpol Tirana Office.

We remind that as a result of close collaboration with Italy, the number of extradited has been rising recently.
