Rita Ora in Zara on August 30, the city inhabited by the Arbëresh

The world-famous Albanian singer, Rita Ora, will perform in Croatia's city of Zara (known also as Zadar), where 500 years ago there have emigrated an Arbëresh community, after the occupation of the Albanian lands by the Ottoman Empire. Zadar is also one of the oldest cities of the Balkans founded originally by the Illyrians about 3000 years ago.

The concert will be held on August 30, 2019, at the Visnjik Sports Center in Zara, as the concert organizers announced who claim that most of the tickets have been sold since the concert was firstly made public on July 3.

Rita Ora will perform in Zara as part of her Phoenix tour to promote her latest album with the same title.

The tour started in Australia in March, continuing in Asia and in major cities of Europe such as Paris, Milan, London, Oslo and Stockholm. Ora has recently made her history in top UK songs with her hit Let You Love Me, becoming the female singer with most solo songs at Top 10 in Great Britain.

Her arrival to perform in the Balkans has awakened not only the great interest of her Albanian fans, given the fact that this concert is very close to Kosovo, Albania, and the territories inhabited by Albanians.
