Apostolova: Visas for Kosovo to be removed as soon as possible

 Nataliya Apostolova
The head of the European Union Office in Kosovo and EU Special Representative Nataliya Apostolova said that all the criteria for visa liberalization for Kosovo have been met.

Apostolova made this statement at a press conference following the publication of the Kosovo report by the European Commission. According to her, the Commission and the European Parliament recommend that visa liberalization for Kosovo should happen as soon as possible.

"The current report notes that all the criteria have been met, where the Commission and the European Parliament recommend visa liberalization for Kosovo to happen as soon as possible. I think this is the strongest language we have until now in the report that all member states find a solution as soon as possible," Apostolova said.

In the EC report on Kosovo, it has been announced that Kosovo has made some progress in implementing some of the key EU-related reforms, particularly in terms of improving rule of law and public administration.
