Air Albania launches its first flight this Saturday

The first airline bearing the Albanian flag, Air Albania, will launch the flights on Saturday. Its first destination is Tirana-Istanbul-Tirana line.

Air Albania has managed to finalize the first package of flights, making for the first time a company with Albanian capital to provide services in the field of flights.

The first trips will be towards Istanbul, while in October, Air Albania will have other destinations in major European cities.

Rome, London, Milan will be part of these flights, and will be followed by a more comprehensive program next month with Athens, Munich and Barcelona.

But apart from the European routes, Air Albania will also offer international destinations, where for the first time there will be a direct line between Tirana and New York.

Air Albania's philosophy is the combination of economic tickets with competitive prices in the market.

"It is expected that tickets to will be lowered with the entry of this company. Most of the airlines that operate in the Albanian market have had very hight prices, this is because of the tariffs that the concessionaire of Rinas has decided."

The company will travel with a new fleet of not more than 10 years old in a time when the average age of aircraft traveling to Albania is 18.5 years.

The first aircraft is an Airbus 319. Will hold the colors of the Albanian flag and the eagle.
