Notis Sfakianakis in Tirana: Greek media manipulated me; we are in Illyria here

 The Greek singer Notis Sfakianakis has arrived in Tirana, who will perform his best songs on Thursday at a show in the Palace of Congresses.

Sfakianakis comes for the first time in Albania.

Notis Sfakianakis has been a promoter of the far extreme Greek right party Golden Dawn. However, media say that he made many statements against Albania and Albanians. In that sense many Albanian artist appeal to the public to abandon his show.

In an interview to Top Channel he says that he has never spoke bad about Albanians and that Greek media has manipulated him. He said that he loves Albanians and  made an appeal to the audience to follow him at the Palace of Congresses.

To Channel: There have been many comments in Albania regarding some of your statements relating to Albania and the Albanians, where you consider the Albanians an inferior race?

I have never said these words. The media have manipulated me. And something else, the fact that we are here in Illyria, says it all.

To Channel: let's invite the public together at the Congress Palace on Thursday ...
