Greece holding major training secretly on Aegean Sea

In a time when the East Aegean Sea has been very heated because of Greece-Turkey conflict and a large number of states are being "pushed" there for their own interests, Greece held a major military training on sea on March 19-21, which included a large number boats and other sea vehicles.

The training took place in the marine area of Myrto Palagos where the Greek navy has been practiced for a variety of situations and risks that may come, Greek media writes.

"The exercise was successfully conducted by the Navy in cooperation with other military sectors of the country in order to respond in a timely manner to any potential danger," the military authorities said after the training.

Over the past few months the relations between Greece and Turia are tense, where no more than three weeks ago a Turkish ship hit a Greek ship, while Turkish forces detained two Greek soldiers, who are still in prison.
