Exchanges with Italy, Turkey and Russia increased in Durres Port

 The exchange of goods with Italy, Russia and Turkey have increased through the port of Durres.

During the first 9 months of this year, this port traded more than 2.1 million tons of goods with 63 different ports ranging from Mediterranean countries to those in the US, China or Brazil.

Italy and Russia occupy the first two countries, or 21% of the total volume of goods transported by ship through the port, followed by Turkey with 14% of the exchanges.

Then Malta by 7%, Greece by 6%, China and Egypt by 5% each, Spain, Germany, the United States and Turkmenistan.

From the statistics department at the port, it is learned that ships that have departed from Durres or have arrived at the largest port of the country have downloaded or loaded different goods in the 63 ports of 20 different countries of the world, where Turkey is first with 16 ports and Italy with 12 ports.
