About 1500 foreign troops that will come to Albania to take part in a joint naval exercise "Albanian Lion 2014", in the framework of cooperation of both sides. The aim of this exercise will be the planning and implementation of sea deployment operations, search operations - rescue and evacuation of civilian personnel from areas of operation.
The training "English Lion 2014", will take place in the period September 1 to October 31 2014"in the naval base of Pashaliman, the base of the Porto - Palermo, Karaburun Peninsula, Cape of Paul, the air bases of Kucova and Rinas, shooting training in areas Zall - Herr, Poshnje, Bize, as well as in the passageways in the air and ground in these regions.
In this exercise there are expected to train 1,500 military troops of Great Britain, a German naval unit that will be part of the British forces, four deployable ships (three British ships and one German ship), military means, two military aircraft "Jet Hawk" helicopters transport 4 (2 helicopters "Sea King" and 2 "Chinook" helicopters), who will perform movements in the region which is determined to exercise.
