Democratic Party group filed today a request in the Assembly for the establishment of a commission to investigate the legality of the appointments in the civil service, from 15 September 2013 until today.
"Democrat group during these months has denounced flagrant cases of appointments in the administration, even in high positions, people suspected of being involved in criminal activity or have a record on the court and are convicted ," said today in a statement for the media Eduard Halimi, DP deputy and ex-Ministre of Justice.
He stressed that this is a concern of all Albanian citizens and of those parents who, with the license of their children in hand, expect to get a job, while the administration appointed people suspected of being related to politics, and even worse, with people related in criminal activity, especially drug trafficking.
"In this investigation we seek to make transparent to our citizens that the procedures are, or not legal" Halimi said.
