The Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy (MIE) will hold on November 9 a terrain visit with the aim of informing the bidders on some concrete details of the project idea for granting concession to the Kukes Airport.
According to the press release by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, this visit will be conducted based on the article 1.4. of the "Bidder Instructions" section of the Competitive Procedure Documents (DPC) for giving in concession / PPP "For the Kukes Airport".MEI informs that at the end of the visit, the participants will be provided with a participation document, mandatory for submission to the offer.
Kukes Airport is a strategic project that is expected to give to Kukës Region economic development and will have a direct impact on the country's economy.
The flights from this airport are expected to begin next Autumn, creating traveling ease and cheap for residents of Albania and beyond, as well as impact on the country's economy.
